I’ve been gradually getting back into a bit of a regular work cycle with regards to Photonix these past couple of weeks. Baby is doing well and we’re all settling into a bit of routine now. I’ve committed to work a solid day each week purely on Photonix for the foreseeable future. I’m hoping this will allow me to perform some large restructuring and add some cool new features.
So far this cycle I’ve...
- Gone though outstanding PRs and issues, merging into the master branch
- Updated most dependencies with regard to the CVE security index
- Completed work on the feature that allows manual rotation of photos
- Resumed work on the task that allows photos to be uploaded via the browser (in progress)
The main area I will continue to work on will be to finish off all the issues that were in progress. Only then will I begin new features. You can stay up-to-date with progress via the GitHub Project Tracker.
Aside from Family and Photonix my other main focus is another product I have been building called Audio Audit which helps to improve audio quality of podcasts. If you are into audio recording and editing I really appreciate you checking it out and spreading the word. I hope that a regular income from this will eventually sustain development of Photonix and mean I don’t have to take on as much client work.
Thanks for following along and see you next time.
